First off, wonderful design work. I like the color scheme you've chosen for the character. It reads well, it's not overbearing, and shows more than a casual amount of attention was given to it, not something I've seen enough of from other artists.
The figure itself is strong in form and structure. Anatomically, there isn't much to gripe about. I do have a couple things which in the overall scheme, are mere nitpicks...
The 'hourglass' figure is something of a misnomer, I've come to understand, in that the figure never pinches at the waist from both sides at the same time. There is almost always a stronger direction towards which the waist will 'aim' and thus the narrowing is almost entirely from either from one side of the figure or the other, but never both. I did a quick examination, and it looks that because she's standing more chest out, that one continuous arc might define the right side of the figure from the chest to the hips. This should also give her a more supported look at the waist, and a more dynamic stance to boot. It's the little things...
A similar pinching occurs at her right wrist. Unless the pose requires that she have her hand flaring out and away from the body, the hand and lower arm can usually connect as one seamless arc, allowing the contour on the opposite side to form the narrow part of the wrist.
If you would like to see what this looks like visually, I did a redline that I have not uploaded that helped me to see these things more clearly. If you would like me to share it with you as an overlay, I would be happy to.
Yes and no. That storie, with the big dragoness became a little more serious, therefor, it was a bad idea to have a 3 meter high character in small places. I rewrote the 2 characters, but the old ones still exist on the "how to date a dragon" series, which you can see here: [link]
Heh. It is fun, but when people flat out refuse to accept she's female due to lack of breasts, even just scaly mounds on the chest, then the fun ends. And she isn't being eye candy for people because the size of her breasts are small. I think he set this up for something later on, something I suggested for "How to Date your Dragon". It'll be funny.
Waist to hip ratio and body type tell more about the gender of a person/character than just breasts, Dimensional.
Granted cat guy has a rather feminine physique, so with them placed together, there isn't as much contrast as there could be. One could argue that the breasts that were added (thankfully kept small and tasteful!) help to correct that lack of contrast, but I digress.
At least they are small ones. Can't say the creator is trying to make her an object of everyone's desire. Just something to make it clear completely that she's female. I know a few people who saw a pic of her, with her shirt on, and didn't believe she was female due to lack of breasts.
