This is a really nice deviation and stood out in my news feed right away.
VISION: Your theme here of demonic types of monsters is interesting. Other people have drawn lineups like this to showcase their favorite creatures or ones they devised themselves, but yours is more creative than the average one. They are each interesting to look at.
ORIGINALITY: These monsters are fairly unique while still incorporating familiar elements. Snake head's two sets of arms make you do a double-take. Dragon cat has a lot of different features and accessories without feeling cluttered (sword, fire around the hand, the wings and ears), and little details like demon's earrings draw you in. Even though each creature has some unique things they also have some typical things we have seen before (such as demon's tail or snake head's claws) so that the piece is not overwhelming with new information.
TECHNIQUE: Your figures are stunning, and your shading fantastic. Everything about snake head's form (arms, legs, hands and feet) are so well done and feel very 3D. The shading on demon stands out to me, maybe because the pose he is in allows for the shadow and light areas to really contrast each other. Shading of small details (wrinkles in pants, abs) on dragon cat is great. Overall for technique, nothing looks out of place or done incorrectly. Light sources seem to be consistent and are kept interesting.
IMPACT: Like I originally said, this stood out in my newsfeed. The grayish base color contrasts nicely with the line work and shadows and creates some nice pop. Maybe some of the darkest areas could be a tad bit darker, but overall everything suits each other nicely. This piece definitely makes me want to get creative and make some creatures of my own!
I'm a fantasy lover and was glad to take the time to send a critique your way. Once again, great job on this piece!
